This retreat came at such a perfect time for me in my work. So often I fail to take a moment to rejoice in what I have accomplished and to be grateful for the staff that I’ve been blessed to work alongside. I often get caught up in my next focus, my next project, forgetting the necessity of celebration.

Taking the time for gratitude and appreciation in my work allows me to better witness the ways God is working throughout all of it. How important it is for us to be present to our blessings and give thanks to God for the opportunities of growth which we are constantly encountering.
