Pause for a few moments and focus on your breathing. Breathe deeply and know that you are loved and safe. Be at peace.

Luke 1:46-47

And Mary said: "My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord. My spirit rejoices in God my savior."

Mary, our first role model, the first disciple, has much to teach us about life with the Lord. When we put ourselves in her shoes, would we, could we, do what she did with such holy confidence? Each day we are called to say yes to God as Mary did. Let's not miss one more opportunity to declare through our actions the greatness of the Lord.

Blessed Mary, Mother of God, intercede for me with your Son. I long to say yes, but I am afraid of what that means. Guide me with your mother's hand, so that I may know that all will be well.
