Matthew 1:22-23

All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: "Behold, the virgin shall be with child and bear a son, and they shall name him Emmanuel," which means "God is with us."

The birth of Jesus was the fulfillment of God's covenant and promise. But Jesus' birth was not the end of that covenant. Jesus Christ is "God with us." Many times throughout our day we have the potential of encountering Jesus. All it takes is our our willingness to look at our day with the eyes of faith. When we do, God can be found everywhere.
