Before you begin your retreat, pause for a few moments to turn your focus inward. Relax and recognize that you are in the loving presence of God, who is with you as you continue your faith journey.

Matthew 28:18-19

Jesus came forward and addressed them in these words: "Full authority has been given to me both in heaven and on earth; go therefore, and make disciples of all the nations. Baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."

Jesus makes it clear that the invitation to salvation is for all people and that the waters of Baptism are the starting point for our new life of grace. Our Church's celebration of the Sacrament of Baptism brings to our life the grace of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. As members of the Church, we share the mission of the disciples to share the message of Jesus with others.
