God looked at everything he had made, and he found it very good.
The first chapter of Genesis is all about beginnings. It describes how God created light from darkness, brought order out of chaos, separated the land from water, and finally created the human family. God looked at all he had made and found it very good. God's love surrounds us today with the same intensity as it did on that very first day of Creation.
How aware am I that I live because God's continuing love upholds me?
When was the last time I took a long, loving look at something I made?
