Is there anything more holy than gathering around a table to break bread and share a meal together? Probably not. With every forkful of food we sustain our bodies and souls. But we also choose with each bite whether or not to sustain the planet we’ve been given. Each time we make a decision to buy from a local farmer or rancher, we choose to directly support another human being. And when we support those that use practices that care for the earth, we take an active role in caring for what God has created.
