Genesis 1:27

God created man in his image; in the divine image he created him; male and female he created them.

God created all things and has given the human family a unique role in his creation. Made in the image and likeness of God, we have a special relationship with God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God made us to be like him and wants us to care for and love the world he created. Our Father, who loved us at the beginning, continues to love us today and always.
