Grades 1–8

Found to be in conformity with the Catechism of the Catholic Church, each student book has 25 core chapters plus Special Seasons and Lessons, the What Catholics Should Know faith handbook, and Glossary.

The Student Books are full of beautiful, engaging imagery that complements the written content and aids learning by helping students internalize the central message of each chapter. Point-of-use multimedia has been integrated into every chapter, providing additional opportunities to extend, engage, and offer children more ways to experience the content.

Student Book Features:

• Point-of-use QR codes lead to videos, interactive, audio, and text resources that include puzzles, games, interactive reviews, songs, reflections, and Sacred Scripture readings.
• Traditional, spontaneous, and guided prayer are woven throughout the program, nurturing children’s prayer lives and helping them develop a personal relationship with God.
• Words to Know feature boxes define new vocabulary and terminology as point of use. In addition to on-page definitions, there is a glossary at the end of each book.
• Optional Special Seasons Lessons offer ways for children to learn more about the liturgical year, feasts, memorials, and solemnities. These can be presented before each feast or commemoration to foster a greater appreciation of the liturgy.
• What Catholics Should Know reference section includes descriptions of the sacraments, holy days of obligation, the precepts of the Church, Catholic social teaching themes, and Catholic prayers.
