Kathryn Bojczyk, Ph.D., is Associate Professor of Education and Coordinator of the Early Childhood Education Program at The Catholic University of America. Dr. Bojczyk earned her Ph.D. from Purdue University in Developmental Studies and has over 10 years of experience teaching courses such as Human Growth and Development, Educational Psychology, and Early Childhood Curriculum and instruction courses. Additionally, Dr. Bojczyk has conducted numerous professional development workshops for Catholic schools on the topics of human development, cultural diversity, and family engagement. Dr. Bojczyk is an active catechist in her home parish, with more than 10 years of experience teaching students in pre-kindergarten through second grade. She has conducted research related to teacher self-efficacy regarding the teaching of religion. She has also been published in rigorous early childhood education journals including Early Childhood Research Quarterly, Early Childhood Education Journal, Early Child Development and Care, and Journal of Family Diversity. Kathryn has been the keynote speaker at the Early Childhood Conference for the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.
